QR codes – The Myth explained…

By published 3 December, 2011 No Comments

QR codes have been around for quite some time now however most people don’t understand what they do or how they work, they are in fact very simple and require only the use of a mobile Smartphone with a camera, so have yours at the ready!

QR codes stand for Quick Response code and can hold information that your Smartphone can receive and use, for example sending you to a website. Whenever you see a QR code simply active your QR scanner application on your phone and scan away, the information will be displayed on your phone immediately! Give it a go, scan the code on the front cover.

Unsure how to set up your phone for QR scanning? Download these FREE apps to start today:

Over the next few months here at The Eye magazine we will begin to include more QR codes throughout the magazine in the hope that you will scan away, there’s a lot to discover!
