Local people in Marske clean up!
By Redcar Cleveland Council published 10 February, 2012 No CommentsRedcar & Cleveland Borough Council along with Marske Litter Action Group are holding a litter pick this Saturday, 11th February from 10am – 12 noon.
The group, which was founded in May 2008, comprises of local people who work all year round along with the Council to keep the beach and village looking at its best.
To join in this next event please meet at the boats at the end of the High Street at 10am. This litter pick will concentrate on the beach entrance area, in front of Cliff House and the Headlands. Litter pickers, vinyl gloves and bags will be provided but please bring your own gardening type gloves if you have them.
Please wear sturdy footwear and dress for the weather.
Under 18′s are welcome but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Saturday 3rd March 10am – 12pm Litter picking on the playing fields Saturday 31st March 10am – 12pm Litter picking around the St. Germains beach entrance Saturday 21st April 10am – 12pm Litter picking on the sand dunes in front of the Stray car park (the one nearest Marske)
Councillor George Dunning, Leader of the Council said “We have a number of these events taking place around the Borough and it is great that people are getting involved. The community spirit in this area is amazing and it shows that people of all ages love to be involved
“
