Instead of taking her out this year, why not sweep her off her feet with this classic recipe for St Valentine’s Day. It’s easy to make, absolutely delicious and bound to impress.

What you need
•    2 boneless 8oz pork steaks
•    1 large onion, finely chopped
•    a handful of mushrooms, finely sliced
•    300ml Bisto Gravy
•    A glass of red wine
•    An ovenproof dish

How to make it
1.    Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F/Gas 4
2.    Place the pork steaks, chopped onions and mushrooms into an ovenproof dish.
3.    Make up the Bisto Gravy as described on the pack then add the red wine.
4.    Pour the red wine gravy over your pork steaks so they are well covered then place in          the oven and cook for about 45 minutes or until the meat is tender.
5.    Serve with mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables and a glass of her favourite wine.

She’ll love you for it!
