Change in facebook policy

By published 19 July, 2012 1 Comment

A recent policy change on facebook could be effecting you with out you even knowing it.

Facebook’s new policy effects all the pages and groups that you like within facebook. Due to this change in policy only about 10% of facebook users that ‘like’ a fan page will see status updates from that page or group.

For example if you have liked our facebook page at www.facebook.com/theeyemagazine, to keep upto date with local news and events, you may have stopped receiving updates on your feed.

In order to keep seeing our news and information you must click/hover over the ‘Liked’ button on our page and activate/ensure the ‘show in news feed’ option is ticked. This will solve the issue and allow you to see all of our new posts.

You may wish to also do this on other groups/pages you have liked.
