12 Year Old Boy Assaulted, Preston Park
By Cleveland Police published 1 August, 2012 No CommentsCleveland Police are appealing for information after a report that a 12 year old boy was head butted by a man at a popular Teesside play park.
Travis Glancey was at Preston Park Monday afternoon (30th July) at around 3.45pm with two of his friends. The boys had been using a slide and Travis was sitting at the bottom of the slide when a white man, in his early 30s spoke to the youngsters. He then headbutted Travis on the bridge of his nose and left the park with two young children, a boy and a girl. The man got into a gold or silver people carrier style vehicle and drove off.
Travis and his friends went to the park café and called police.
The man was of chubby build and had short brown spiky hair. He was wearing a black Umbro waterproof jacket and ¾ length camouflage shorts.
