For years now we, the people of Brotton, have been shunned by every positive newspaper article ever written in order to enhance the reputation of neighbours Saltburn. Which is by no means superior to our village. Perhaps on this occasion though, it is not newspaper but the golf club. Could it be that Hunley Hall is ashamed of its Address? Could it be that the new owners feel that they are above a small village like Brotton? Saltburn has a golf club. Its called Saltburn Golf Club. Many of Hunley Hall's members, some are even friends, have been lifetime members and live in Brotton.Has anybody heard of Pilton, in Somerset?
